Question About These Two Fish. Im Thinking Of Gettin One Of These Fish Not Sure Wich One, Im Leaning More Towards Wolf Fish. Wondering Wich One Would Be More Aggressive. Have A Cousin Who Wants To Put One Of Each In The Same Tank. Im Not Thinking That It Is A Good Idea But He Strongly Believes That The Black Will Eat The Wolf, Of Course I Beg To Differ. Any Input Would Be Appreciated.

got a hundred gallon tank? if not, don't get either fish. as for your cousin who want to put both in the same tank, inform him in as nice a way as possible that "ignorance can be temporary, but dumb is forever".

It's rhombeus, not niger...They are both vicious. I wouldn't put them together.....

Well Accordingto Aquaria Central They Are Two Differnet Fish The Rhombeus IS The White And The Niger Is The Black, And Ive Alsoheard That There Is Another Kind Too That Is Always Confused , Is There A True Black Pirhana

Black Piranha\White Piranha\Black Rhom = S. Rhombeus. S. Niger is an invalid name and there is no true S. Niger piranha. A true black is a rhom.

They are both aggressive fish, what other kind of traits are you looking for ? I would not put both in the same tank, it is not a question of who will win , but a question as to why you would deliberately do that? Also for either fish , you will need at least a 100g as already stated.

Well im looking to get an aggressive fish, one that is not so common. I like both the pirhana and wolf but i think im gonna get the wolf. Sounds more interesting to me. i like the more primitive looking fish, like my bichirs. As for putting them together, i dont believe he will be doin that, i also read on here about snakeheads wich seem to be pretty cool fish but i cant get them where i live. I have a local lfs looking into gettin me a wolf fish from a local breeder , they say that there is another wolf fish that is smaller and more colorfull, do you know if there is such thing or are they confusing this with another fish, they say it doesnt get as big as the wolf either
