Hi All,

Belated happy new year.

I have a 210L aquarium with the following fish:
- Hi fin swordtail
- 10 x rummy nose tetra
- 5 x diamond head tetra
- 2 x siamese algae eaters

I would like to completely rescape using wood / rocks and new plants. I only have a single plant that grows low covering 50% of the floor at the moment. I was given a lot of bad advice from aquarium stores at the beginning and it took a lot of learning to understand how to get a safe stable cycled tank. Thankfully that was over a year ago... but now I would like to change its aesthetics.

How would you guys go about doing this? I am worried of course about harming the fish by scraping up the old gravel and releasing a lot of bad nasties into the water (no substrate) and rescaping the tank.

Any ideas or information would be appreciated.

I just removes things and rearrange things about and/or add new thingies. Get some nice pieces of wood that you like and if ya want get some nice java fern and java moss and glue them onto da wood and get some dragon stone or slates or whichever you like & stick the wood in betweens the rocks. I should be able to pick up my dragon stones i found on FB market thing for free.
