I just got a large blue eyed hermit crab to help me in keeping my picasso trigger's tank clean. So far so good Rimbrant (the trigger) doesn't want to eat him or really have anything to do with him. He is also great to watch.
Does anyone know of a good online place to get large shells. The pet shop said he just moved homes and I have a shell I got from a sea kayak trip that is the next size up but would love to have a little more color or at least variety to choose from. The shell he is in now has a 1.75-2 inch opening. No shop in my area sells the larger hermit homes.
