on this very tiny piece of live rock that i have it came with a dark pink anemone growing on it it's still very tiny i'm trying to get pictures of that...then my camera died i want to double check to make sure that it is an anemone! but the thing that i need help with is something else i just found on that same rock while i tilted it a bit so the inner part seems to be white with pink swirls and it has tentacles? that are clear with white tips i can only see the white dots floating around it and i'm just assuming they're attached i saw it move up once and then back down so it is alive i just have no clue what it is! please help!

My guess is that your anemone is in fact aiptasia…a pest anemone that, if not killed, will take over your tank. This is a picture I poached from the internet. There are a number of ways to kill these pests. The one that works for me is a syringe full (about 1 ml) of concentrated lemon juice that I squirt right into its mouth.

It could be a mojano or a tulip anemone.

But it could just be a species of aptaisia that you're not familiar with.

But without a picture your description isn't ringing a bell for me, on anything other than some kind of pest anemone.

Maybe you got lucky and got a free one!!! A hitch-hiker if you will!!! That would be kinda nice!!

i found a picture online after a lot of googling haha but they still didn't know what it was i will post the picture though .... ok i don't know how to here is the URL http://www.wetwebmedia.com/cnididfaqs6.htm
scroll all the way down to where it says little clear/white thingies that somewhat resembles it.....only that my middle part is white and then the beginning part of the tentacles has striped pink then it goes clear then the white dots at the end

The problem with a vague description is that a lot of stuff can resemble aptaisia or other pest anemone species by description.
Your description doesn't rule out a pest anemone.

So you kind of have to post a pic to get an actual ID.

I saw the picture on wetweb media and even they didn't know from that picture. So your description just isn't sufficient.

The WWM pic is actually a coral. You can see the tubular corallite extending from the rock and the polyp on top. As far as exactly which one, I can't tell from that pic.

These kinds of corals are usually common on Florida live rock, so it is certainly a possibility that that is what you may have. Without a pic, however, there's no real way to tell.
