Hello

I have been trying to keep live plants in my two tanks; a 5gal Eclipse System 3 and a 25gallon with an Eclipse 2 Lid.

I've been going through many plants and after reading some posts I can see why... I dont have a lot of light, and some plants are sold as aqua plant but are not.

I was hoping to tap into everyones knowledge and experience as to what plants are good for beginners with regular gravel, low lights and Seachem Flourish tabs.

I have an anubias (nana or barteri) which seems to be doing well. Also, a couple of hygrophilas that seem to grow nicely. I am giving a second try to my amazon swords but after reading up on it here, I think they are going to end up melting away again.

Any help creating a list would be great. Thanks. :)

Also, I am thinking of investing in a used CO2 diffusing setup by Hagen... will that help my 25gal set up with keeping plants alive? :)

:iagree:

All of the above (except for cryptocorynes, plant them like you would plant any other) can be attached to driftwood, rocks, or almost any other decor. Although Anubias can be planted into the gravel if you want, just with the rhizome (the thick green root that all the smaller roots come from) above the substrate.
