I have a few Grindal worm cultures available that are ready to feed and come in containers they were raised in. These are super easy to maintain, clean and healthy that fish go crazy for. They are easy to harvest and are great source of live food. If you have finicky fish that prefer/demand live foods or want to condition your fish for breeding then these are perfect! These worms pretty much pay for themselves cause they will multiply as long as you provide them with enough food that they can finish withing a 24 hour period and keep the bedding moist by spraying it with water as needed. I usually mist spray once every other day. I like to gut load them with high quality fish food which means that fish get double the benefits.
The worms reach up to 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length and are white in color. I got my worms from a good source a couple of months back that are clean and free of pests like mites. No springtails either but those are not so bad since they are a good source of live food a swell.
I have one large culture that is ready to feed for $15. You'll be hard pressed to make a dent in the culture unless you have several tanks with lots of fishes. In this photo they are chowing down on some food but there are way more under the bedding.
I also have 2 smaller culture for $8. You can start feeding from these smaller portions but I would recommend to harvest every other day until they increase in numbers. They reproduce well and won't be long for multiple daily feedings from this culture.
Local pick up is welcome.
For local pick up you will get the culture in a container as follows...
Large culture $15 (one available)
Small culture $8 ( 2 available )
Priority shipping with live arrival guarantee is $6, $8 or $10 depending on your zone, and will come in a shallow container like this to keep the bedding and worms from tossing around to much.
