nice GT but sorry.. that is waaaay over priced and not rare at all.. theres special food that can induce nuchal humps.... and it also has to do with genetics... i wouldnt think anyone would pay past 30.00 for him... but nice GT none the less

My green Terror
The hump is too big and doesn't look natural to me. My male Green Terror started to develop humps in about 2 years, which are more natural and pleasing looking to me (I am biased). Not all GT develop hump though as this is the first time my GTs do. Mine were F1 Asian import which line breed big hump and high body. GT is the most satisfying big cichlid I've ever had as they have the color and hump as Flowerhorn but without FH nasty behavior. GTs are so gentle that I can keep several big male peacefully in a 75 gal tank.

While its not my cup of tea, but $30 is just a insulting price, a fish of almost any type costs more than $30 at this size and this fish, rare or not, has awesome coloring. fish that look like this (flowerhorns) often go for hundreds of dollars so this isnt a crazy price

Nice GT buddy. Itz true not all GT develop hump, especially huge hump. I'm glad to have it. Yes, mine is gentle too. Always get bump by its tank mate, parrot fish. I'm thinking of keeping it becos not easy to come by in local store.
