Hello AC,

I know that glass catfish should come in schools, but do you think 6 of them will be okay in a 10G? I know that I will probably have to do 2 PWC instead of 1 if I get them, but they're really cool :D

Thanks,

Hunter

Is there any other stock in your tank? I asked this same question in one of my previous threads and no one seemed to have an objection to it. They arn't the most active fish in the world so I don't see much of a problem and long as there's little to no other stock in your aquarium.

At the very least, make sure you have some plants or other places for them to hide. I had 6 in my 46 BF community tank, and now there are 3, and they don't like the bright lights. Mine stay hidden under some driftwood until feeding time or until the moon lights come on, then they are out and about. And I would say I would not add anything else to the tank. Hopefully you have good filtration. Good luck.

I had some and they seem to have tiny stomachs for their long body but if you were to only fill your tank with that i would find it boring lol
All they do is wriggle in place nearly all day
Do as you wish tho :)

I currently have 6 neon tetras, two pieces of DW that form a little cave with plants surrounding it. I have an Aquaclear 20 filter, and I do 50% PWC every week just to keep the water clean and the tannins as low as possible.

What Ianne says is true, they do sort of hover in one spot most of the day. Only at feeding and after lights out do they seem to come to life. Good luck.
