Frank's Aquarium

For those who are interested, I met Frank from Frank's Aquarium personally today to buy his Crystal Red Shrimps (Type B), and some Blue Singapore shrimps, and I have to say that this guy is great. He's really nice and knowledgeable.

I met him at the NY Aquarium in Brooklyn, where he works. I paid for my shrimps and he showed me my babies. They're quite beautiful. They're very small though, but they're in the best of health.

I had my doubts about ordering at first, because he doesn't list his phone number or address, but after meeting him today, I felt at ease so I'll be ordering from him again. He has his reasons for not listing his phone number and address. It's a home business.

Just thought I'd mention it, since we're always looking for good vendors.

Frank's is IMHO a quality and reliable source. He does not do winter shipping though, which is smart.

O.k., I'll bite...why is it smart not to ship in the winter. Don't they sell heat packs for shipping? Why wasn't this brought up before I ordered those darn things!?!:duh:

I'm so lucky to live in Brooklyn.

He's figured out a way to ship shrimps to me so that I can get them the very next day at a much cheaper price.

This guy is definitely cool.

He works at the NY Aquarium. We communicated by e-mail. I wanted to avoid the shipping costs, so we made arrangements for a pick up at his workplace.

Explain your situation to him and he'll make arrangements for you too.
