ok thinking of setting up my 55 outside on my porch. anything i should do/know about? it will be either a planted tank with spiderplants and growout demasoni fry or just for demasoni fry growout/main tank. so anything i should do/know about?

Is it going to be in direct sunlight at all? You're going to have a ton of algae if it is.

If it's under your porch but gets some direct lighting, I think it would be possible.

You're also going to need a secure lid so animals don't get it and eat your fishies.

some days/weeks it gets as high as 70, other days/weeks as high as 90. but lows from 60 to 75 somedays as low as 50. think the spider plants will like it?

i have a 40 gallon out side..and a 10 gallon.

they are on my covered porch but they still get most of the day in the sun.

they get really green but i don't mind....the 40 gallon has convicts and brook sickle back..i have a heater set to low to keep the cons from getting to cold.

working great for me so far if the nights get to cold i cover them with a tarp.

i also have some native plants in the tank.
