I hate to be the one to ask, but I know I'm not the only one thinking this . . .
How do you know they are constipated?

Do they look like this  ?

well they are very bloated and their **** is very long so maybe it could be a digestive trouble of some sort

Well, if they are ****ing I wouldn't think it is constipation. You've said they look bloated and have named a bunch of diff foods you are feeding. Could be overfeeding. Can you give us an idea how many fish you have and how much / how often you feed? Also, what does your chemistry look like? How often do you do water changes and how much do you change each time? Do you vacuum the gravel at the same time?

I occasionally boil a few frozen peas (or pop them in the microwave in water for a couple minutes to cook), then cool them and peel the shell off. Mush them up and feed them to the fish a bit at a time. My fish love them and it's apparantly supposed to help with the digestive track.

well i dont think i overfeed you tell me
i have i pineaple sowrdtail 1 rewag platy 2 pristella tetras 2 serpae tetras 1 blackskirt tetra 1 pearl gourami 1 kising gourami 2 australian rainbows 3 zebra danios ans 2 black neon tetra
i feed them about enough to cover most of the water surface and they eat it all whithin 2 minutes
i try to vary their diet but maybe too much variety is hurting them i dont kno why it would anyway
i also do a backwash every saturday so i hve no idea what i am doing wrong
help!! :sad

DP - based on the info you gave here abt the number of fish you have and the info in your other post abt overstocking, I would first solve the crowding problem. If all the fish are healthy other than looking bloated, that mey be the problem. I've read that when fish are crowded by being in too small a tank or by having too many roommates, they stop growing on the outside but their innards still grow - perhaps the reason they look fat/bloated.

Def get yourself ano tank, get it cycled and move some fish, or try returning some to the LFS. There are lots of posts here abt cycling new tanks and moving fish. Keep us posted.
