Explain this. I can't take a photo. My camera won't pick it up. A neon tetra is bent at a 90 degree angle about half way down its body. What's going on here and what can I do to help?

It has straightened out a bit from what it was before, but it's still crooked. He can swim just fine. Still the same idea?

dont move it at all. moving it will cause more injury than there already is. he is most likely going to die from this, as there is no "fish stretcher" to take him to the "fishy hospital."
you might want to euthanize him, but picking him up will most likely kill him, so id just leave him and watch him closelt until he dies.

Like I said, he's swimming around on his own just fine. I'm not touching him or stimulating him at all.

I really doubt that he can survive from that, whether it's an injury or parasites or disease that have gotten really bad. Let him live for now, give him a chance. Who knows, maybe he'll learn to live like that. My gut feeling is he probably won't make it though... :(

clove oil, brick, knife, freezer, car...the list is endless

do a search for clove Oil on this site, it will give information of the use of euthanize the fish.
