fin rot update......used binox

I used binox on the fin and tail rot.......unfortunatley we did lose our black moor (midnight)
but the Calico (Cutie) and Chocolate (Cadbury) orandas are still with us...they are eating not to much swimming hanging out near the filter and the bubble wand.....today is day 4 of the treatment...the med says you can medicate every 4 days til it clears up...but you have to do a 25% water change before you dose again....so my question is do I dose again?? I think it stopped the rot from progressing but its kinda hard to tell really I hate how this disease messed up their tails and everything :-( my poor babies.

If memory serves, Nitrofurazone which is main ingredient of Binox (correct me if wrong) is not well absorbed by Carps.

If no improvements in few days (5-7 days), contact mfr for possible need for double or triple dose for severe case of fin rot ONLY if and when applicable OR

switch to meds posted on one of your original threads.
