I just got 5 panda corys for my 20g long. They are so cute! The only problem is, they are only like 1 cm long, and I don't know how to feed them. I have wardleys shrimp pellets, but I think they are to big. Any suggestions?

1 cm? My shrimp pellets are almost 1cm long. I feed my corydoras defrosted blood worms and brine shrimp as well as shrimp pellets and algae wafers. (The fish are about 2".) The pellets and wafers are too large for them to eat, but they get soft on the bottom of the tank and the corys vacuum up all the little bits of them, bopping the pellets around the tank until they've been consumed.

1 cm is a slight exaggeration. They're probably 3/4 of an inch, my point is there to small to eat any of my sink foods.

the pellets soften up fine in the water, and they will suck up all bits of food on the ground. i also feed mine bits of shrimp and blackworms they love the worms.

I never particularly worry about feeding my 3 albino cories (55G) ... they do an excellent job at cleaning up after everyone else's mess and missed food.

What would be a good flake food for a Cory? I want to get some veggy matter for the rest of my fish too. Do you think Spirinula Flakes would be a good choice?

Thawed freeze-dried brine shrimp should be small enough for cories. My cories gobble up brine shrimp, and the brine shrimp pieces are pretty small.

Even when their bigger they won't eat the pellets whole. they'll just suck/nibble on them. I use Hikari sinking wafers and algea wafers. they love them. plus a fair bit of frozen and live bloodworms, and grilled chicken and veg as treats.

My guys eat sinking catfish pellets, the flake food and peas that I smoosh up into bits :) They're always scavenging for more too :D They're also only about an inch and a half. Once the food has been nosed around a bit they don't seem to have a problem eating anything that I put in.
