hmnmmm mudskippers are brackish though so in my books they don't qualify but nice fish
for me it has to be the lungfish simply because they can live outside of water in a cocoon.

A number of Mudskippers are freshwater aren't they? So that kinda counts.
I love oddball fish so it's hard to choose, but I guess I'll go with Microphis deocata

This is one of our "Pet" freshwater eels. It's about 3ft long and lives in a small stream in our back garden. It likes Bacon, but then, who doesn't.
