Well Jay it all depends on what you keep for fish and what your resources are. I have both fake in my cichlid tanks and real in my rainbowfish tanks. Also this should have been posted in the plant section of the forum.

fake plants depending on fish and budget. they look like the real thing anyways. i use real plants and keeping them healthy takes work but they look very nice.

I personally prefer live whenever possible.

real plants are the only way to go imo. I love them almost more then the fish.

Depends on how much you like to fuss with your tank. REal plants take maintenance and care.........fake plants don't and some of them almost look as good as real....(I said ALMOST...lol)
