Empty Snail Shells - Leave em or Remove em

Would like to know your opinions. I've never paid it no never mind and have been leaving them in there. Now, I'm not sure I really want to. The shrimp seem to like working over them and all, but for me, I'm startin to not care for all the empties. Maybe leave a few. Just thought it would be a good calcium source as they degrade.

What are your thoughts and why?

I didn't vote, because my opinion is to do both. Like you said, leave some, but you don't want your tank to look like Homer Simpson's living room.

I always leave them unless they are becoming unsightly.

I always left them too and when I recently did a rescape of my old 29 diffusa tank I pulled out probably 50 of them.

i am too lazy to take them all out

I leave them in, too. My water is so soft that I need every bit of calcium help I can get.

I take them out. I feel like I did something wrong if I see an empty shell.

I pull out or crush the smaller ones and leave the larger ones to provide hiding places for shrimp and fish fry!

i'll remove any that are large (ramshorns) but to find all the itty bitty ones...... hoo boy! lol.
