Looked into my guppy tank today and I see what appears to look something like eggs... there is about 8 of them laying in a bunch on the substrate

These are the first live bearers I have ever had-- but I KNOW they dont lay eggs lol

it is like a clear bubble with a small pinkish center--- what could it be?

The pregnant guppy appears to be pregnant still as well (very fat)

I tried to take some pics but they came out horribly

there is no snails in there... only 3 guppies.

there is 1 live floating plant that I guess coulda had a hitchiker of some sort-- but its been in there a month and the "eggs" are fairly good sized

well...guppies don't "lay" eggs...maybe she dropped a couple :p

I don't know but it could be snail eggs, although the apple snails I had laid theirs just above the surface line, they were soft, milky with a tint of pink, but it will change color so after an hour.

Even if guppies prematurely give birth, those are not guppy eggs. Guppy eggs when dropped prematurely are ripe yellow. These are pond snails for sure. You just cannot detect a lone snail easily.

in a 10g that I watch constantly I cant believe i didnt see them...

also I havent bought plants for a month

Well, I guess people are saying snails, because what else could it be?
Sometimes snails hide in the substrate during the day.
It does seem unlikely though that you haven't spotted it, 7.

can you scoop them out with some water and place them in Quaranteine until you know for sure? I have never seen my guppies drop eggs so if they are snail eggs maybe you might want to seperate them from your tank until you know what kind they are?
