my question is should i donate these guys to my LFS?
i have a 29gal Planted with:
5 tetras (don't know the name, they were donated 3 years ago to me)
5 cherry barbs (babys)
2 true SAE
1 loach (don't know the name, it's a baby, looks pretty cool though)
1 kick@ss Ram
and now 3 pitbull plecos. i woke up this morning to see a few of my newer cuttings up-rooted and munched pretty good. some leaves on other plants i can tell have been muched as well.
i just started with the planted tank about two months ago so i'm still in the stage of cloning the plants and replanting them... i have a pretty lame light (60whatt i think, it's one of those "Tropical" ones with just 5500k) and i just ordered the Flourish Excel, Iron, Potasium, Phos, Trace... i've been feeding the plants with the Seachem Comprehensive. forget what my substrate is, it was a black super-fine granular product.
yes, i was to get a couple interesting fish as well, but want to concentrate on the plants for a little until they're rockin.
So, should i donate those guys? keep 1? will my plants start out-growing their destruction once i get the supliments?
unfortunately i don't really know the names of the plants. i have some different types of tall, super-fast growing guys a couple bulbs that haven't sprouted yet, then some grassy type plants that are the ones being munched on.
