Would 3 SAE's be OK in a 20Long with a breeding pair of Kribs? Would they eat the eggs? I am asking this because most algae eaters do not eat fry or eggs.
Thanks.
I've never seen mine eating eggs, but I've never not seen them either
I'd guess that they would. Although mine eat algae quite a bit, they are not shy about begging at dinner time and they love meaty food like bloodworms.
Hrm, I wouldn't take the chance, myself. Which reminds me that I should either remove the mops regularily or remove the SAEs when the bows are spawning.
I would say yes. there is not a fish in the world that won't eat eggs if given the chance, and SAEs are FAST. I had to stop stocking plecos (rubberlip and clown) because I caught them devouring a batch of eggs.
