Does anyone know if the CRS eat the eggs of my corys?
I just bought a few pandas and metae and I'm guessing they liked their house 'cause they started to lay down eggs like there is no tomorrow :grinno:. They are the only ones in the tanks (5pandas and 6 metae) plus 3 female shrimp. Should I take the shrimps out or are the eggs safe?
Any info is appretiate.
Thanks

I haven't seen my cherry shrimp pay attention to my eggs. Ghost shrimp will eat them and so will snails.

Thanks Jack.
So far 1 egg got fungus and the rest dont look very good. Let see what happens.
:)

I've never seen my shrimp munch eggs before :) I hope your fungus clears!

Do cories ever eat their own eggs? I know some discus parents will do this on their first few batches, but don't really know if cories do the same thing.

yes they will, although I've heard that the dwarfs don't.

I put rcs in my tanks with eggs and they seem to pick out the fungused ones and leave the good ones alone.

I've only seen shrimp take care of the bad eggs. No issues with them snarfing the good ones.
