DIY 10 gallon aquarium stand?

Here's my homemade stand. 10g on top 5g hospital on the bottom. $30 and about an hour.

No pressure treated. Its not touching the water in the tank but its too close and the possibilty of tank tools/food/etc touching it.

The old greenish has arsenic and copper in it. that equal dead fish very quick.

I dont know what the new yellowish has in it but its supposed to be more ecologically sound. all i know is its a rip off. they decided to use a substitue that rusts regular steel nails in 3 months or less. you have to but special screws at 4x the cost(or so the box says)..blahhh

not to mention its overkill. if your stand is going to be wet enough for long enough to rot, you have bigger problems.
