dwarf african frogs, yes....clawed frogs, no. do a google search to see the difference in pictures or for a care sheet. the regular african clawed frogs get HUGE. i used to have a pair that were almost softball sized that ate 3-4" goldfish, so your betta would be bacon to them. dwarf frogs are often kept in small tanks with bettas successfully. both are really cool provided you have the right setup!
The way to tell a Dwarf from the African is by looking at their front legs. The Dwarfs have webbing in between their "fingers" on all four legs while the Africans will only have webbing on their hind legs. In a 10g tank you could do a Betta along with 2 Dwarf Frogs and maybe another fish. I have a little 6 gallon tank up at college with me and it has 2 Dwarf Frogs and a Platy.
