would it be possible if a (M or F) red wag platie cross with a (M or F ) dalmation or black mollie

plan on housing all three and iam wonder if i could get an interesting hybrid.

Most likely possible, but a very slim chance. A platy x molly hybrid is not one you hear of when it comes to livebearer crosses. Oftentimes its just within the respective genus.

The problem with livebearer crosses is that you'll see a lot of people post "Mine bred!" without really anything else...no pics, no deatails, nothing. Its hard to just flat-out believe some person posting on a forum, at least for me.

It can't be done as far as I know. I've never heard of Xiphophorus breeding out of their own genus.

Yah , i already have hyrids, i had a gambusia that came from a local creek went into my pond with other gambusia and minnows and when she was in the last week of pregnancy i netted her and stuck her in a pale and she gave birth then , one of the fry that is now 4 months old is a male and has the body of a guppy and his lower body( not the tailfin thats clear) keeps changing from orange to purple.

she got pregnant in my pond.
