well i am looking to get some cory cats for my female betta tank
(10 gallon with 4 female bettas)
how many cory cats should i get?
what kinds are the best (e.g. bronze, albino, peppered, etc)
thanks! :nilly: :nilly:
and is it possible for me NOT to use substrate? :1zhelp: ? because i am confussed on this
:) ;)

you don't NEED substrate. They do like to root around in sand for food. Nice clean bare bottom is ok as well.

I would go with a small cory for that size tank. Either one of the dwarf species (habrosus being my favorite) or somethign small like Panda cories. I would put 4 pandas or 6-8 habrosus/pygmeaus.

You would need to be super diligent with water changes and vacs in a tank that size to keep it stable.
