I have two clown loach in my 75G tank, one is doing his normal digging thing on the gravel, the other keeps on chasing (and look like biting) my butterfly koi, goldfish (??) Is this normal?? I just take him out to a bucket right now.

ok first, you should get a bigger tank for the clown loaches so they can have a proper group of 5, which would need a 180 gallon tank.
as for the chasing, its most likely because he does not have enough other clowns to mess around with.
goldfish and koi should not be housed together with tropical fish like clown loaches anyway, but you dont have to get rid of the koi if you move the clown loaches to the bigger tank that they will need.

I would strongly recommend separating the goldfish and clown loaches in to two separate tanks as well. Clown loaches should be kept at a temperature of around 80 degrees. If you are going to keep these clown loaches they will eventually need a much bigger aquarium and to add at least 1-3 more clown loaches in to their group as Jim said.

the 75 would be great for a couple of fancy goldies, but koi reach 2.5-3 feet long. you need to find a new home for that fish.

As for now all the fish in the tank are about 2-3" long

2 butterfly koi
4 goldfish
2 clown loach (I will get 3 more tomorrow)
1 pleco (common I think)

After getting 3 more clowns I'll put back the one chasing others in to see what'll happen now that they have a pack.

why are you going to get more clown loaches when you really don't have enough room to properly house the 2 you already have? you should be returning them and making some decisions of what type of tank you want - but all of your fish except for the pleco need to find new homes.

Why is that 75G tank is not enough space for 2-3" x 5 clowns??
A 75 gallon aquarium is enough space for a couple of years as long as you realize that they will eventually need a much bigger aquarium. As suggested you should return the koi. You should also separate the goldfish into their own 75 gallon or return them. Your clown loaches would do much better in an aquarium with a large group of smaller fish.

Nothing for now, as long as you've considered what you'll do when those 2-3" x 5 clowns become 8-9" x 5.
