Cheap decorations for a tank

ive had a tank for about 4 months now with live plants and other decortions. But i need more hiding places for my fish...

i was wondering what else are natural hiding places for fish. I need some kind of rock or wooden feature in my tank

Any suggestions

any homemade items that are not toxic?

untreated, broken or unbroken terra cotta pots make good caves.

you could modify pvc pipe to look more natural as well

What you could do is get some slate or rocks (Make sure they wont leach) and stack them. That makes an arch thing. I just took a flower pot and split it in half. Worked fine.

As for the terra cotta pots. Could you get them at any craft store?
and for the slate rock where could i get ahold of that?

i have room behind the cave structure on the left and the middle group of plants..The right could be adjusted a little by moving the collumns and the bamboo

i want to do a little reorganizing of the tank and add more hiding places.

Any suggestions

Nice tank. Have you thought of adding a background? I'd get more plants if I were you.
