I'm sure we've all seen this before, goldfish as a carnival game prize. I was at a fair and there were two large kiddie wading pools in a stall filled with small comet goldfish about 1-2inches long. For $1 you get a small pan/net thing (its more like a net, but the mesh part is taut and doesn't form a sort of bucket like a regular net) and you try to net as many of the small comets as you can before the thing paper net breaks. As usual, these kind of live animal games are extremely popular, especially with young kids. And also as usual, there's many little kids holding goldfish bags with 5-10 goldfish in it, no doubt ready to go home and dump them in the nearest container filled with fresh tap water. Poor, poor goldfish... :mad2:
