Hi, I'm new here, so sorry if this is the wrong board...

What would be the best kind of fish to keep with a crayfish to help keep the bottom of the tank clean? (Preferable some thing Petsmart would have.)
Right now, my cray fish about 3 inches long from head to tail, and it's the only fish in my tank.

Oh yeah, my tank is 10 gallons, if it helps any.

not totally sure, but i wouldnt recomend it, a friend has a blue lobster (similar to crayfish) it slowly ate every fish in the tank as it grew.

So unles you have a huge catfish i wouldnt reccomend it

Agreed, I think the cray will have to live on his own. I saw a "blue lobster" (which is actually a crayfish that has been bred to be blue) in a tank at the LFS with a small-ish (4 inches maybe) common pleco in it. The cray had torn off one of the poor guys fins.
