Bristlenose Catfish With White belly

Hi

One of my BN catfish has a white belly. He rarely excibits his ubderside so not exactly sure how long it been like it but at best guess 1 week.

He seems perfectly healthy but has this white patch, approx 1 inch by 1/2 inch.

Was paranoid about something in the substrate but 5 Cory's and the other BN are fine.

Has anyone seen anything similar?

Would be helpful if you could post a picture.

Are you adding aquarium salt? Without a picture, it's possible that some of it was sitting on the bottom prior to dissolving and the bristlenose laid on top of it and got a bit of a burn.

Pictures would be very helpful and debbie is a genius with bristlenoses.
