Brine Shrimp Hatchery

I bought a brine shrimp hachery kit from san francisco bay brand...I am just wondering, how many days will the brine shrimp continue to hatch from the eggs.

The first time I tried it, I used the packet of eggs and salt that comes with the kit...I got BBS after 24 hrs, and they continued for another 24 hrs. but after that there were still tons of eggs unhatched and no more BBS appeared after several days.

Any tips for hatching more shrimp? Also, are they sensitive to chlorine/chloramine...box doesn't say anything about using treated water.

Warmth and constant bright light are important for hatching brine shrimp. It also depends on the quality of the eggs. Do a search on the internet for hatching brine shrimp, you'll find tons of info. I've only hatched bbs once, did it according to instructions I found on the internet.
