java fern windelov

I am really happy with the fishtail java fern, also called windelov. It can be slightly tucked into the gravel or tied to a rock, nice shape and lower light tolerant, doesn't need CO2.
 
Take away his money, then later, buy him another tank with it so you dont seem mean.

After all, this is what wives do, you should start preparing. :laugh:
 
Well, the moss balls are the size of golfballs. Its a little more like moss than the java moss is. Literally, its a ball of moss. Some float more than others...

IMO the tank wasn't overcrowded to begin with, however it does need more filtration... I think an Aquaclear 500 would be barely sufficient for a 55, but I prefer to overfilter if possible. Anyways that's my two cents.

And weather loaches are awesome, I'd get a couple but my tropical 55 is strictly Amazon fish (well except for the ghost shrimps, but those aren't exactly fish...)
 
Well, maybe right now the tank isnt too bad because the fish are fairly small, but it looks pretty overcrowded. 90 gallon isnt that big.... and i dont like cluttered tanks.

But thanks for everyone's input. I think we will thin the load out anyways....

I am defintley gettin me some moss balls! Those are awesome! 10 bucks a peice tho i dunno... thats one expensive ball of moss
