Bowfront tank on rectangular stand?

Hi all, I have recently purchased a 72 gal bow front All-glass tank with Mega-flow overflow and predrilled exit/returns. My question is whether or not a Perfecto Sanibel 75/90 gal stand would support the weight of a reef setup with 29 gal refugium underneath? This reef setup would consist of approximately 100 lbs live rock with 30 lbs live rock in the refugium. The sanibel stand is bigger than the aquarium base, thus no edges of the bowfront tank would be hanging off. The exact stand and aquarium measurements are 50 1/4"L x 20 1/2"W x 30 1/4"H and 48"L x 18"W x 23 1/2"H, respectively. If so, then would drilling holes in the stand surface comprimise the structural integrity of the stand? I have contacted Perfecto with these questions as well, but they give the standard "Bow front tanks are made for bow front stands, and drilling holes will void any and all warranty". Are these claims legitamate? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The bowfront stand will look better, but that is just my opinion.

I'm not sure what you mean by "then would drilling holes in the stand surface comprimise the structural integrity of the stand?" Any material you remove will make it weaker, period. Just how big and the location of the holes will determine the degree of structural weakening.
