I keep a 10 gallon tank, that was purchased as the "delux package" from petco. The filter creates a pretty strong current, but I put a large piece of a cinder block across the center with a couple of plants behind it. It gives him a haven from the current at night, but when the light is on, he seems to enjoy racing around in the current.
