Baby Blue Whale

Recently purchased one of these for my tank...It swims around like it's crazy is this normal?

Yes it is normal, they are active fish and require a 30 gallon at the minimum. They are related to the elephantnoses, and can emit an electrical charge also, not harmful to humans though.

Look up mormymids. I always hate common names. This is one example of a mormymid.

is this the blue whale mormyrid or the parasitic fish also known as a blue whale( forgot the species name) ???

Very aggressive, territorial fish. I added one in my 90g & the next morning all the fish were huddled in 1/4 of the tank & he was swimming in the other 3/4. Returned him the next day.
