a guy i know who also has guppies feeds them freeze dried tubifex worms. i bought some of the same kind he got (wardley tubifex worms cubes) and put a cube in the tank, the males seem like they dont like them, but the females are having a field day. are tubifex worms good for guppies?

Freeze dried tubifex are fine if they are "purified" in the freeze drying process (to kill parasites) and used as a treat. Guppies need variety - good quality flake foods, live or freeze dried foods, like daphnia and brine shrimp. They also do well with some veggie/spirulina mixed in on a regular basis.
