I know all butterfly fish are generaly not reef safe, but I know that the raccoon and the copper banded butterfly fishes CAN be reef safe. If there aren't any that are completely reef safe, which ones can possibly be reef safe? The things that I'm afraid of a butterfly eatting are mushrooms and xenia.

none are considered completly reef safe. Copperbands usualy will eat tons and tons of zoos. i have seen them in reefs, but few behave themselves completly, and those that do, are few and far between.

Yeah, I read copperbands can be reef safe, raccoons can be too, but the copperband has higher chance of being reef safe. Well I won't be having zoos just mushrooms and xenia.

Also read you can detemin "coral eattingness" by how long their nose is. If they are long, the fish will most likely just try to eat things in little holes on your LR. The ones with shorter noses will eat corals.
