Are Harlequin Rasboras fin nippers?

I would like to trade out my 3 rosy barbs for some harlequin Rasboras, but I wanted to know if they have been known to nip fins. After all, that's the whole reason I'm getting rid of the barbs. Also, how big of a school can I keep them in? Is 6 enough? Thanks!

Harlequins are not fin nippers. I would keep them in a group of 12+ for a nice school.

What size tank are you putting them in and with how many other tankmates?

I have never seen mine nip any fins.
I got group of 3 and they seem very happy and are the most active fish in my aquarium.

I have 16 of these in my 30 tall that are about .75". They don't nip or do anything at all aggressive towards themselves, the corys, or the candystripe pleco. Pretty awesome little fish and true schoolers.
