Aquadene - water GREEN

I just got rid of an Ick problem with SERA Costapur - did as the instructions said - for 5 days, 2ml per 20 litres (I got a 120 litre tank so used 6ml for 5 days). On day 6 did a partial water change and the fish looked fine. The next day decided to add some sort of 'tonic' and got this Aquadene. Added as per instruction and the water has been coloured a sickly green . Does this wear off and how long does this take .
BTW the nitrate, nitrite and ammonia levels are fine. Learned an expensive lesson when I started the tank a month ago with, wait for it, 34 fish. Needless to say around 24 died off as a result of the cycling, which I only later read about but managed to sort it out with Cycle.
I am just worried about the sickly green colour now - should I do a partial water change again or should I wait a day or three? The fish look fine though it just does'nt look right.

I put the number 3 (GENERAL CURE) into the tank. I asked my LFS for a 'tonic' of some sort to use as a preventative medication in the tank to help kill any parasites if any and was sold this stuff.
 
There are no ingredients listed on the bottle - the stuff is marketed by a Malysian company as per their website KWzone. There is a lot of Chinese (or Japanese) writing on the bottle but obviously I can't read that.
The writing says it is
"used as a cure and as a general prevention for all common fish diseases like Ich, sore spots, Fin rot, torn fins, mouth and body fungus. It is widely used in fish farm, hatcheries & by exporters &importers to cut down mortality rates during transit"

Malachite green makes water blue. If it was one of thoes two it would have to be copper. I would guess over the course of a day or so, the activated carbon would get rid of the color. thats what it does, gets rid of discolorations and such. I really dont think a company would sell a product that makes your tank permenantly green.
 
Thanks - it would appear that the colour is clearing up. Any suggestions as to what a person can use in the tank as a sort of preventative/conditioner for the fish? (Apart of course from ensuring that all tests are done and regular partial water changes)
