I read on a site ( http://www.fishkeeping.co.uk/modules...aresheetID=118 ) that "various gourami" were not good tank mates with apple snails, and I want to put an apple snail (brigg) in with my dwarf gourami. So does anybody have any info or experience on this? Don't want to kill or hurt a newcomer!

I would jusy keep an eye on the dwarf gourami and the snail.
I keep snails in my 3 dwarf gouramis and i haven't had any problems at all. If you do add snails to your tank just keep an eye on the snails.
