anybody have any experience with a Verifo IR4B-100-GSD? supposedly 4000psi/ 100psi. I have heard very good reviews on the IR401B and wondered if this was comparable? size and shape it looks pretty much the same

Hey Patrick,

That's a Parker made valve. Parker does make some ok stuff. But tell me more about how you would want to use it? Of course im sure for Co2, But tell me about how you want to set it up? There are concerns I would have with this unit. You can get for about and around the same money these go for a "Full" Single or possibly Dual stage regulator. Tell me more what you want to do with this unit?

it would be for CO2 aquarium usage. simple setup to connect to likely paintball tank (I have adapters and stems already for either paintball or CGA), and output to needle valve and solenoid. what would be the concerns for this unit? I am offered a very good price on it

One of my first issues is safety. Does it have a POP off valve? A lot of the compact units like this don't. If it doesn't and you break the threshold it can blow the valve off or apart pretty violently. Next would be the working pressure of 100. I believe its set at 100 psi. It needs to be adjustable way down lower then that. Like 40 psi down to zero. Most set ups don't use more then 5 to 25 psi working pressure. On atomic atomizers around 30 to 40 max. A 2 gauge set up is best in that you get working pressure and tank pressure. Your best bet is also cga320 as paintball tanks just don't last long. A 5lb tank last about 3 months.

Btw what's a really good price? It's probable you could pick up a nice single or even dual stage regulator for what this one costs. Another issue this one could have is EOTD.

$40 shipped is what I'm offered, as for EOTD thats why I mentioned the IR401B because that one supposedly does have good EOTD, figured if this one were similar it would too
