I bought a 3 inch Black Ghost Knifefish a couple of months ago.
He was skinny - tail chewed off - what a sight.
He is now at least 6 inches long and growing in 'girth' as well.
I thought I would have a little more time before he 'owned' the entire tank - but I am thinking that I may not have much longer.
He is not showing any aggression toward tank mates - but he does spend most of his time 'hunting' for eggs on the substrate (Danios and Tetras).
I am feeding twice a day now - blood worms and assorted frozen 'bugs' (I guess).
He is healthy and seems to be happy. He comes to me whenever I go near the tank. If he is hiding, he comes out as soon as he hears me. He has a great personality - very cool - but I don't think his tank mates will be safe for much longer - even though they are very fast.
Great excuse to get a new tank.....MTS all the way.:headbang2:
Any advice would be helpful - does the growth slow down at any point or is it like this all the way to adulthood?
