Please see my member page and read the previous posts on the treatments I've been trying....

I'm ready to pull out my hair.

What else can I test my water for that can be causing this stress?

BTW,
You have to click on the word Bettas to see the rest of the pics on the site.

Are you SURE it's finrot? When I moved my betta from his gallon bowl to my 55 gal community tank his fins became somewhat tattered. He was MUCH more active in the tank than he'd been in the bowl. I think it was just having so much more room, possibly the increased current, and swimming so actively that made his fins look bad. He seemed very happy in that tank for another year or so, but his fins never looked good again.

Well the thing is I have two separate bettas doing this and they will be almost healed and then it will happen again.
First I tried BettaFix and then Jungle Fungus Eliminator with Trisulfa and now to give them a rest I just used a salt treatment and it started coming back like crazy...
Could it be anything in my water besides what I mentioned above??

Plus the red betta was in a 6g for over a month and he was fine and then it just happened out of nowhere....

if you moved them from a small place to a big place, theres a chance that they can rip their fins either from flareing too much or swimming around alot (i read this on another forum)

Should I just return them then to their large homes???

What if the fins continue to get worse?
If they do get worse is it not necessarily finrot??

Sorry, I'm like a paranoid parent, I just want the best for my children :)

Got up this morning and one of their fins are a lot worse...
I will check again tonight and keep you guys posted. BTW, I did a 50%wc before I put him in there. So it shouldn't be the water.
:OT:
Anyone have good ideas for covering the filter intake so his fins don't get inside?
Would rubber bands holding a reg nylon stocking be bad for the water?
