Have angelicus botia/ botia kubotai known to actively "prey" on assassin snails? Found one of the loaches snacking on one of my snails and I'm pretty sure the snail is now dead. I'm just hoping it was a case of an old/sickly snail that couldn't defend itself.

I bought some live plants for a 55g and one of them had snail eggs on it (the ones that reproduce in ridiculous amounts). A few days later, I had a major problem. A small aquarium store nearby me recommended botias to take care of the snails. I can't remember exactly what type of botia (the ones with a tan colored body), but they definitely ate all of the snails they could find, and aggressively might I add. I would think that assassin snails would be no different to them :uhoh: If you have more snails in there still, good luck.
