Has anyone ever been successful in keeping an Amazon Sword in brackish water? I just got a really nice one for my fiance's tank when we got him a figure 8 puffer. We soon discovered that we would gradually need to convert his water to brackish which we will be doing in a couple days but I need to know if this is going to kill the Amazon sword. The other plants are hornwort, anacharis, and water sprite, all of which I found to be compatible in brackish water but I've not found much on Amazons. Thanks!

Surprisingly enough, 1.005 is the exact SG that I'll be going for. I read that that is the salt content in which figure 8s do best so that is what we'll be aiming for.

I have quite a few ***. swords in my brak tank and they are doing fine.
