I have two Platys and five Mollies, right now I am only feeding them flake, I thought they might need some algae, but the only one I found was sinking algae wafers that said it was for bottom feeders. Should I feed them those ? Do they even need any algae at all ? I also only feed once a day, should I be feeding more often ?

Thanks

That's what I feed my balloon mollies but only like once a week. They go at the algae wafer. They love them. As far as feeding your fish once a day, that's all they need. Some people feed them more than that because they always look hungry our they just like seeing the fish eat, but once a day is all they need.

I feed algae wafers to my dalmation molly, she loves them, but hold them and not drop them or they might ignore it.

I have four lyretail mollies, and I feed them freeze dried bloodworms, crushed up shrimp pellets, crushed Betta pellets, and crushed up algae wafers (made for bottom feeders) Sometimes I put flakes in there too.
