chris

ps please advise before the wife has my life ! (its her tank)

try using a lint free cloth and some slightly soapy water wash it again
then rinse cloth and wash again in clean water then leave to dry in the air

hope it works

if it doesnt work i found this website you can buy acrylic aquarium polish

http://www.northcoastmarines.com/CLEANING.htm

so if you can at least tell your wife i stuffed up but i have ordered this to try to fix it  it may save your ears a little

and she should be grateful you were doing some cleaning in the first place

Did you use an ammonia based cleaner on your cloth? Like Windex or something similar? Ammonia will react with the acrylic and make it cloudy. I'm not sure if you can fix it if that's the case. Good luck with the wife!

thanks for the advice , i hjope it was not ammonia based checked when i got in last night but the pack had been thrown out due to me using the last one on the tank. Hope it will come out as it was my way of getting the wife in to fish keeping and she was starting to show an interest and loves her moors ]

looks like i will be on the sofa then if it is ammonia based cleaner :(
