Any suggestions on what kind of freshwater setup to go with? Prefer to not have fighting in the fish tank.

you have alot of options with an 80 gallon tank.

an angelfish will make a great centerpiece fish for the setup.
you can go with either one huge school of larger tetras, or two "big" schools.
a nice group of corydoras will add some activity to the bottom of the tank.

Wouldn't Angelfish eventually pair up and start bullying the tank? Or you mean 1 single Angelfish?

Ok here's an idea:

How about an all Albino Community Tank? Schoolers, Plecos, Corys, Rainbows, Livebearers, Single Peaceful Cichlids are ok too.

Throw your ideas out there!! :)

you will notice that my suggestions are always very similar. These are my favorite combos of fish.
Huge school of rummy nose tetras(the best schooling small fish) Blue rams and Discus.
That is what I have in one of my tanks and I love it. Rummys school better than any other freshwater fish

I don't know- if you really like albinos that could be a fun theme. I think I would get tired of looking at a tank that size with only one color of fish. What about moving your school of congos into this tank and expanding it? You would have room for an impressive school, a busy bottom dweller, and then I would add a nice big school of hatchetfish. The stripey kind, not the marbled kind.

Tell me why the rummies in your experience school the best?

I've never kept them but even in the store they keep very tight formations. Maybe they're a nervous species. I had a school of serpaes for a few years and they were okay schoolers. they look nice in a planted tank. When you said you would like an albino tank I thought a stripey tank would be fun. but then I couldn't think of anything impressively stripey other than a striped raphael.

Actually the same thing can be said with almost everybody's rummies.:) Rummies seem to be only one of the tetras that are popular for their tight-knit shoaling behavior.;)

My suggestion:
1. A shoal of three species of tetras.:D
Cardinals, rummies and kerri tetras.
2. Hatchetfish-surface
3. Cories-bottom
