Hello everyone! I have never posted here before but I have learned just about everything I need to know from this forum about fish keeping. Though I was ready for saltwater, but right now I am overwhelmed, hence this classified.
I am selling my (used) 60 Gallon Oceanic pre-drilled aquarium. I bought it with intentions of starting a saltwater tank, but it appears that I do not have the time, or skill, to figure out everything that needs to be done.
Included is the following:
60 Gallon Oceanic Aquarium (36"L x 18"D x 21.5"H), pre-drilled with two holes in the left corner: Holes measure 1.5" and 1.75"
Glass lid (two panes)
Stand - Homemade, needs work, only has 1 door, see pictures (37L x 19W x 31H)
One hole is sealed, the other is not. The tank holds water with no leaks at all (tested it yesterday just to be 100% certain)
$250.00 or best offer
Just purchased a fixture for this from ebay, should be here by Monday, so if you want that as well I would have to add a little to the price. Nothing fancy:
THE FIXTURE USES TWO ODYSSEA CE T-5 39W DAYLIGHT BULBS. IT HAS A POLISHED REFLECTOR AND A SLIDE-IN PLASTIC BULB COVER TO PREVENT SEDIMENT OR CHEMICAL BUILDUP ON THE BULBS. THE HOUSING IS BLACK NON-CORROSIVE POWDER COATED ALUMINUM.
Again, I really wanted to start a saltwater tank, but just figuring out how to plumb this thing is tooooo confusing.
