55g Active Community Stocking Help

Good morning!

I need a little help stocking my 55g community tank. I started off with 6 Giant Danios for a few weeks and recently added 6 Peppered Cory Cats (which I love) and 12 Neon Tetra. The cats love the Danios and swim up and around them while the Neon Tetra seem a bit freaked out by the fast moving Danios and typically lurk around the plants.

What are some other active fish I could put in there that would not get spooked by the Giant Danios?

I was thinking about the following, thoughts?

6 Giant Danios
6 Peppered Cory Cats
12 Neon Tetra
6-8 Cherry Barb
12 Other Tetra (Rummy Nose maybe?)
2 Dwarf Gourami?

Do I have room for anything else? Current filtration is a Whisper60.

Any general suggestions or thoughts on how I could spice things up would be great. I am trying to find species that are a bit more rare than the general Petsmart fish.

I have no other suggestions other than no on the 2 dwarf gouramis, unless you have a lot of plants, wood, or rocks to break line of sight. It's pretty much like having 2 male bettas. It won't be pretty.

Would one gourami be cool? Or just nix them all together?
